Michael Jackson Motown Appearance

Since I mostly grew up in the eighties, the death of Michael Jackson on Thursday, the 25th of June 2009 has been an incredibly shocking and sad event not only for me, but for most of the world. In respect for his incredible talents, I would like to take a look at his astrology chart to see what made him tick. I will also look briefly at what was going on astrologically at the time of his death.

Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana on the 29th of August, 1958. Unfortunately, his time of birth isn't really known so I have had to examine a few possible times. I have settled for the 11:53PM time because his life and death appear to fit this astrology chart very closely. This would give him a Gemini Ascendant which corresponds with his talented way with words via his songwriting. It also explains his somewhat androgynous appearance near the ladder part of his career.

The first thing that really jumps out at me is his stellium (astrology speak for a "tight grouping of planets") in his 3rd and 4th houses. He has his Uranus, Venus, and Mercury in Leo. Keep in mind that the 3rd house is the house of communication. Therefore, these Leo planets influenced his singing style in a very flashy and charismatic way. He was born to be a star and shine in the limelight with his incredible talents.

Uranus in particular clearly points to him coming across to the public in a strikingly original manner. This gives him a genius for communicating his ideas and, for him, this came across via his music. To further add to this mix, Venus gives him a very pleasing and beautiful voice.

The rest of the planets in this mix are his Mercury in Leo and his Sun and Pluto in Virgo which are all in his 4th house of home and family. His Mercury in Leo is a testament that he was always shooting for the stars with his music as he always made a serious attempt to have songs that were number one or at least in the top ten.

His Sun and Pluto in Virgo in the 4th house clearly point out the way he felt about his father. He felt that his father was a very powerful figure in his life. In fact, his father seemed so powerful to Michael Jackson that I'm sure his father's energy felt overwhelming and frightening to him as a child. It is well documented that Michael was a victim of child abuse by his father that quite apparently left him very scarred as an adult.

The Sun and Pluto in the 4th house also show that Michael Jackson had a passionate love of his family and children. His great love for children, unfortunately, got him into a lot of hot water due to child molestation not once but twice in his life. Both times he was found innocent, but nevertheless it had a very stressful and draining effect upon Michael Jackson's physical and emotional health. The Sun and Pluto conjunction show someone who is a very intense individual and also very private. It also shows someone that has a relentless drive to succeed and push themselves past their limits. Michael's death shows someone who clearly felt a tremendous amount of stress and pushed himself far too hard physically. Michael Jackson Billie Jean Video

Michael Jackson's midheaven is in Aquarius which indicates that his career ambitions and the public perception were of an Aquarian nature. Aquarius is all about walking your own unique path in life and expressing your own vision to the world. Michael Jackson certainly did this with his music career due to his prolific musical talents and unique dancing ability.

In fact, Michael Jackson has largely been viewed as a genius and way ahead of his time. On a more negative note, Aquarius energy can be decidedly eccentric or simply downright weird and this has been well documented in Michael Jackson's strange behavior with his adopted children, his escape from reality world at the Neverland Ranch, and his eccentric style of dress. Unfortunately, a lot of these things landed him the name of "Wacko Jacko" by the press.

Michael Jackson had a very fertile imagination that deeply enhanced his creative abilities with his music. This is very aptly demonstrated by his Jupiter/Neptune/North Node conjunction in his 5th house of creativity, love, and children. In addition these planets made a very sweet trine to his midheaven which is indicative of his free-flowing creativity that enhanced his career.

Jupiter and Neptune energies when blended together are very romantic as well as spiritual in nature. Many of his ballads demonstrated his gorgeous melodies, soothing voice all centered around his romantic lyrics. This gave him world class creativity and a serious ability to aptly express his emotions through his music. In addition, these planets in the 5th house also show his great love and adoration of children.

Lastly, Michael Jackson had his Moon in Pisces in his 10th house of career. This, once again, shows that he had an incredible ability to tap into the emotions of his fans with his music. It also shows his immense creativity and peaceful nature. The Moon in Pisces also shows that he was a very sensitive person and that he could be prone to escapism due to emotional pain that he was feeling. It does seem that in the last years of his life, escaping from the world was in the forefront of Michael's mind.

Looking at the day of his death shows that the ruler of his 8th house of death (Saturn) was transiting his 4th house of endings. In addition, his transiting Saturn was squared his natal Saturn which indicates a very difficult time in his life. In fact it appears that the past six months have been very tough on him due to Saturn's crossing over his natal Sun and Pluto. It seems that life has been very overwhelming to him to the point of making him want to simply give up.

The ruler of Michael's Ascendant (Mercury) was also conjunct his Ascendant. This in and of itself is very powerful since Mercury symbolizes his life force in this life time. This planet is opposing his natal Saturn and squaring his transiting Saturn. Lastly, it was squaring Uranus in his 10th house of career. Uranus rules over sudden unexpected events which is an apt description of his untimely death. Overall, picture these 4 planets on each of the 4 main angles of the birth chart; the ascendant, descendant, midheaven, and the I.C (the lowest point of the birth chart). This is called a Grand Cross configuration and this is a very fitting description of how Michael must have felt in his final days on this Earth. He felt as if he was on the cross himself and life seemed to feel brutal. In short, he felt like a victim and, on some level, that there was no way out.

Michael Jackson was an icon along the same lines that Elvis and the Beatles were in their respective generations. In his life he demonstrated his love for humanity through his very generous donations to causes that were important to him. This is symbolized through his Aquarius midheaven which is known as the sign of brotherhood. In conclusion, he was an individual with a tender heart that really cared about the world and strived to make it a better place than the way he found it. It is safe to say that his message of love and peace in his music has definitely influenced a lot of hearts in a more positive and uplifting direction.

As you can see Astrology can provide a great amount of information about a person's life. What I have done is called an astrology birth chart reading with forecasting. It would have been wise for Michael Jackson to have consulted an astrologer during this difficult time. Who knows? Maybe he would still be with us today if he could have known that the difficult Saturn energy that he was experiencing would have passed by the fall of 2009.

This type of consultation is available for anyone who is interested. Click here to purchase this type of reading OR visit here to see all of the readings I offer.
